We started our day very early on the 3rd day because Sukawati Market was on our itinerary. Sukawati Market offered some of the cheapest and better quality goods compared to other shopping venues in Bali.

Operation hours : 9.00am - 5.00pm
Tips : Go to the market as early as possible and be their first customer to get the cheapest price. They belief that the first customer is a sign of good luck and they will try their hard to gain the first customer of the day.

Inside Pasar Sukawati
We proceed to Nusa Dua Beach after lunch
Nusa Dua Beach
In front of one of the temple at Nusa Dua Beach. Temple is known as Pura in Bali
Nice view of the beach.
I got to stop now to run some errands. I'm gonna continue about Tanah Lot in my next entry.

The next stop on our 2nd day in Bali was Uluwatu which is situated at the southern Bali. Officially known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, this is actually a temple.  Ulu in Balinese mean heart, Watu mean stone. This temple was built in 11th century by a Javanese priest named Empu Kuturan also known as Empu Raja Kerta.

We went there to see the famous Kecak Dance which will be held 6.00pm everyday.  The men's chorus chants the words Cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak in rhythm over and over again. This is the reason why this dance is called Kecak Dance.

We had to tie that yellow string around our waist & a purple sarong is given if your bottom length is above your knee.
Spectacular view of Uluwatu from the cliff

Far behind are where the Kecak Dance were held.
I managed to capture the sunset in Uluwatu

With one of the dancer. She played as King Rahwana

Ok thats the end of my 2nd day. I had a long tiring but awesome day. I received several email from you guys requesting for the details of my trip. I don't really have an itinerary for Bali actually but will try my best to provide any tips. This trip was back on 2007 so I barely remember the exact details.

A taxi from Kuta to Uluwatu takes around 30 minutes up and down the winding road and will cost approx. Rp50,000 per way. Remember to ask the driver to wait for you for the trip back as it can be very difficult to find transport out from Uluwatu. Extra charges will be impose for the waiting time.

It is best if you can engage a tour guide for the whole trip and I think it will be the cheapest way of getting around Bali as the public transports there are not so convenient.

Uluwatu admission fee - RP4000.00
Kecak Dance fee - Rp50,000.00

Our next stop in Bali was Kintamani Volcano. Kintamani was one of tourist destination in Bali with an active volcano of Mount Batur and a spectacular Batur lake. It has erupted about 24 times since 1800 and still active up to now. Ok this is scary..

Mount Batur & Batur Lake

It was sunny but so cold
Paddy field. One of the view along the way to/from Kintamani. I saw lot of ponchos here and I was so tempted to buy but I was too scared to get down to the stall. Wanna know why?
See? They were waiting for us to get off the car or wind down the window and force us to buy from them.

I was browsing through my external hard disk when I came across my holiday's photo. Maybe I should blog this. It's been few years when I visited Bali but by looking at these photos, my heart glow. Warning : There will be tons of photos LOL! I almost forgot the name of the places and details on this trip which that is why I think I should blog all my holidays so that I can remember them still..

Hard Rock Cafe Bali. Hehehehe my hair was curly back then :D

At the entrance to watch Barong Dance
Barong Dance a traditional Balinese story-telling dance.

Us with the Barong Dancers. Look at their traditional costume. Aren't they colorful?
I was holding a brooch made by silver.
Bali is famous for their paintings.
Another painting that caught my eyes.

Us with our tour guide at one of the tea plantation. Coffee was served for free here :D
I think I should stop here. I will post more photos and places from Bali in another entry. Have a nice Monday!

One of the collection from Urban Decay that I purchased last holiday season was this 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils. I wanted to get myself the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils at first but I changed my mind because the colors in this set caught my eyes. This set contains travel sized shadow pencils either can used as eyeshadow or eyeliner.

The colors in this set are :
Juju - Frosted taupe with shimmer (New exclusive)
Rehab - Medium brown with shimmer
Delinquent - Dark Purple with shimmer
Sin - Pinkish Champagne with shimmer
Clash - Turquoise with shimmer

Swatches on medium skin. Clash, Sin, Delinquent, Rehab & Juju

My favorite colors are Clash, Delinquent & Juju. Sometimes, instead of smudging them using the smudge brush, I use them as an eyeliner on my upper & bottom lids. I'm not sure if this set still available in Sephora Malaysia but it definitely a worth buying.

I would say that this is one my favorite palette.  Purchased back in December 2011, this was 1 of Laura Mercier's Holiday Collection 2011. It's funny when I actually have to called to reserved 1 palette from Laura Mercier's counter in Parkson Pavillion because it was sold out everywhere.

The faux snakeskin portfolio feels nice and very chic :D

This palette includes 12 shadows, with a mix of shimmery and matte colors, classic Laura and  few new colors exclusively for this collection.

• Rich Sienna – shimmery dark brown - (new exclusive)
• Morning Dew – matte beige
• Black Coffee – matte super black, very pigmented - (new exclusive)
• Rosewood – luster finish, copper - (new exclusive)
• Pink Crystal – sequin finish, don't expect this color to be a mid-tone dusty pink. Instead it is a very light pink wash with shimmer over it.
• Sable – sateen finish, gray with subtle shimmer
• Royal Gold – luster finish, yellow gold - (new exclusive)
• African Violet – luster finish, pinkish brown
• Mica – luster finish, very similar to Pink Crystal but with grey undertone  (new exclusive)
• Golden Cream – luster finish, beige with yellow undertone – (new exclusive)
• Fig – matte finish, pinkish purple  - (new exclusive)
• Sparkling Night – matte finish, purplelish blue (new exclusive)

This palette came with 3 travel brushes. Pony tail, crease and smudge

The swatches
Rich Sienna, Morning Dew, Black Coffee, Rosewood, Pink Crystal & Sable.

You are one of the only people who sees me as I really am. You know all my doubts, fears and insecurities and yet you are still here. I can't tell you how much that means to me. How much you mean to me. TQ  :D

My wish for you is that this life becomes all that you want it to. You dreams stay big and your worries stay small. You never need to carry more than you can hold. And while you're out there getting where you're getting to. I hope you know all of us love you and want the same things too. Yeah, that's my wish for you..

I went for a short trip to Melaka last Sunday until Tuesday. When mentioned about Melaka, all I can think of is MAKAN!  I discovered a few of a new makan place that are dangerously delicious.. (Well, its Ina who brought me there actually..hahahaha)

Pak Putra Tandoori
One of the best tandoori shop that I've been to is actually located in a small shop in Taman Kota Laksamana and its only a couple of minutes drive from Jonker Street. The owner of this restaurant is a Pakistani called En. Qamar. It was only 6.30pm when we arrived but most of table were already full!  I forgot to take any pictures there but here's a few courtesy from Mr Google.com

Very near to Asam Pedas Claypot
The cheese nan is superb!

I'm in love with this dish, it made from spinach. Forgot the name
The juicy & tender chicken tandoori

Hassan Mee Goreng
This stall open only for breakfast and is located opposite Pacific Inn Hotel and next to Methodist Girl's School, Jalan Tengkera. I didn't get a chance to come here during our last visit to Melaka so this time I really have to make an effort to try this famous mee goreng.  A friend told us to come before 8am because sometimes everything will finish by then and I was like "What??! Before 8am? Seriously?" And she was right. We arrived at 7.50am and the tables were all full! We actually shared a table with 2 others customers.

People queue for the eggs and take away only. Just be seated and the efficient staff will deliver the mee to your table.
This fried egg only cost RM0.70 per plate
Tada! Mee Goreng Hassan a.k.a mee bodoh, RM1.50 per plate
You need to mix the soy sauce & vinegar to the mee to enhance the taste

Nadeje Cake Shop
People been talking about this cake shop for quite sometimes. We even get our friend to help us to packed a few slices for us to try and the cakes were awesome!! So I told Ina that we need to pack 1 whole cake back to KL.  Nadeje Cake Shops are located at Plaza Mahkota & Dataran Pahlawan Melaka. They open at 11.00am and we queued up before the cafe is open for business.  We ended brought back 2 whole cakes and a few slices more of a different flavors.  They packed in a special bag which cost us RM8 each with ice packs inside.I still love the original flavor.. There is 1 thing that should be improve by the operator of this cafe is that they need to educate the staff on a proper communication skill. Words spread on how inefficient and rude the staff were and its proven right. I experienced exactly the same situation.

1 Whole cake weight 1.5kg is RM103 and 1 kg is RM70
1 slice is RM8.50
